Stow’s takes pride in delivering members delicious, seasonal, and fresh food at reasonable prices.
Members can enjoy Stow’s Restaurant from Wednesday through to Sunday for breafast, Lunch and Dinner to make the most of the panoramic views whilst perusing our handpicked daily menu, featuring favourite dishes, popular light bites along with more exciting specials at amazing member prices.
Stow’s Restaurant is the perfect place to treat yourself and the family to a roast dinner on a Sunday. Our roasts are hugely popular, and we can cater for all dietary requirements*. We serve our famous roast dinners from 12:00 – 16:00 every Sunday!

Members’ bar
As our members are the heart of our club, the bar and lounge has been designed to be a comfortable area for members to relax and experience a superb viewpoint right over the river with our floor to ceiling windows. Members can choose to unwind in our bar 7 days a week, and should a private event be taking place, you would still be able to take full advantage of the bar, which is separated from Stow’s.
The bar hosts a fantastic array of beverages to keep every member happy, from specially selected wines to craft beers and ales, from exquisite smooth coffee to refreshing soft drinks. You are also able to enjoy your lunch in the comfort of the Members’ Bar for a more casual dining experience.
Social events
Sussex Yacht Club has a full calendar of great social events to keep our members entertained throughout the year! Members can enjoy regular fun monthly events along with our much-anticipated large annual club functions.

Monthly club night
Our popular Club Night is a relaxed social event, usually on the first Friday of every month*, where you can experience a delicious 2 course dinner at Stow’s and get to know more of our friendly members.
*Club Night may be moved to accommodate other social events.
Ladies lunch
The ladies of SYC are invited to enjoy a delightful lunch along with a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink on the third Wednesday of every month.
Quiz night
We put your knowledge to the test at the SYC Quiz Night! The monthly quiz is during the winter on the final Thursday of the month. Come and join the fun as cash prizes are rewarded to the teams who have done their revision!
Entertainment night
SYC is excited to deliver monthly Entertainment Nights for our members which changes each month. We have had the pleasure of hosting a range of great entertainers from amazing live bands to hilarious comedians to soulful jazz singers. Keep an eye on our website for details of what is coming up!
Prize giving (annual)
Every year Sussex Yacht Club is proud to celebrate our sailors in a grand, black-tie banquet and awards ceremony, recognising and rewarding our members sailing achievements throughout the year.
