With the aid of a National Lottery Grant, the Sussex Yacht Club set about setting up a local branch called Sussex Sailability as an independent registered charity helping members with a variety of disabilities sail.
Sailability Sessions are run regularly from the Shoreham Clubhouse with the aid of fantastic and enthusiastic volunteers and using our Fleet of composed of boats that are specially adapted for disabled people to sail or to crew and are stable and designed not to capsize.
