Bar & lounge
Situated on the first floor of the Shoreham Clubhouse, a beautifully restored old lofting house that retains the original character and atmosphere.
The bar has been run by Hocine Zioui for over 20 years and he provides a friendly welcome to members and their guests all year round. He is famed by visiting sailors from far and wide for his uncanny ability to remember everyone, and their favourite tipple!
It's an ideal location to relax after after an exciting day's sailing, to meet old and new friends or to entertain guests or colleagues to lunch. In the summer there is one of the best views of the river in Shoreham from the club balcony, and if it is a little too cold out here for lunch then there is the newly refurbished conservatory.
The bar is open from 12.00-14.30 and 19.00-22.45 Mon-Sat and 12.30-21.00 Sunday, where you can enjoy a drink at Club prices.
Members of the club are provided with a security card which provides access to the bar and lounge area of the clubhouse from 0800 to 2300 daily. The comfortable lounge provides a quiet area to read the latest copy of your favourite sailing magazine.
